Skin cancer is among the most common cancers in Canada, and early detection dramatically improves outcomes. The resources below will help you prepare for your visit and understand what to expect.

What to expect at your skin examination: A full skin examination is a head-to-toe visual inspection of your skin. You will be asked to undress to your underwear. The examination is systematic and thorough. You are welcome to bring a support person. The examination itself typically takes 15–20 minutes.
